Wedding Kitchen Tea's

Growing up in Australia the term 'Kitchen Tea' was something always associated with weddings. But now I've worked within the American market a lot I realise that they do not use the term at all.  It's an english tradition... traditionally created to help the bride fill her kitchen with all the necessities ready for her new life and home once married.  Many brides would have a Kitchen Tea for the older generation and family then have a big Hen's Night Party the same night or another night.


I'm not sure how many brides still have Kitchen Tea's?  Have you ever heard of them?  Been to one?



I created this template design yesterday from my kitchen pattern series cause I was curious about 'Kitchen Tea's' and whether they still existed anymore...
